Eastbourne Station Health Centre in Terminus Road, Eastbourne, remains closed as a result of water damage to the building caused by heavy rain over the bank holiday weekend.
Local people will still be able to access health services in the following ways:
If you are a registered patient at Eastbourne Station Health Centre you will now be seen at Grove Road Surgery, 59-63 Grove Rd, Eastbourne BN21 4TX.
If you already have a GP appointment booked at Eastbourne Station Health Centre you will now need to attend Grove Road Surgery.
If you are a registered patient and need to book a GP appointment, you should call Grove Road Surgery on 07889 169415.
The surgery’s website has more information on opening times, etc. http://www.groveroadsurgery.co.uk/
Unfortunately, walk-in services are currently unavailable. While we work to put a temporary solution in place, people worried about an urgent medical concern are advised to call 111.
Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect callers to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP, and can arrange face-to-face appointments if they think one is needed.
NHS 111 advisers can also assess if a caller needs an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary. The NHS 111 service is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by a team of fully trained advisers.
We’d like to thank local people and our patients for your understanding during this time and apologise for any inconvenience caused. We will provide regular updates on progress as soon as they are available.
