Public invited to local NHS Board meeting in public next Thursday
West Essex Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is inviting members of the public to its next Board meeting which is taking place on Thursday 29 October 2015 from 09.30am.
The Board will meet in the Harlow Resource Centre at the Leisurezone, and will discuss the co-commissioning of GP services, the Essex mental health review and the CCG’s contestability framework.
Clare Morris, chief officer at West Essex CCG said: “The Board will deliberate the outcomes of our engagement with primary care on the co-commissioning GP services. This will allow members of the public to gain an insight into the views across west Essex.”
West Essex CCG, the organisation that plans and buys healthcare services for the residents of Harlow, Epping Forest and Uttlesford, will also be promoting their winter campaign, encouraging people to get their free flu jab, if eligible, and how to look after themselves in winter. Local people are invited to observe West Essex CCG Board meetings, which are meetings held in public rather than public meetings. Although members of the public are not able to participate in the decision-making process they will have an opportunity to hear the latest news on the vision for health and care in Epping Forest, Harlow and Uttlesford.
The final part of the meeting will provide local people with the opportunity to ask questions to the Board.
