Welcome, and thank you for visiting our new website. We’ve updated our site to reflect the developments that we are making as an organisation, and are grateful for the input of patients, commissioners and partners in its design.
Our mission was to make information about us more accessible, and to make sure that you can easily find the information that you are looking for, regardless of whether you are a patient, interested in a career with us, or perhaps someone who is looking to employ our cutting-edge technology.
Our status as a social enterprise means that we have the freedom to innovate, and we are helping to transform integrated urgent care through technology and high-quality clinical care.
We have designed our own clinical systems: by making these available to other healthcare providers, we can play our part in delivering a better health service and reinvesting our money into patient care and further developments. As a social enterprise we are a not-for-profit organisation nor do we have any shareholders. While no single initiative or solution will solve the intense pressures on our emergency departments or the 999 ambulance service, each plays their part in providing better out-of-hospital care and will help build patient confidence in the alternatives to A&E attendance.
I have been working for IC24 since early 2017, having joined the organisation as our Chief Medical Officer. I was very proud to have been appointed as Chief Executive in March 2020.
I'm on Twitter, so please do follow me - @AndrewCatto - and please let me know your experiences of IC24, whether it is as a patient, a colleague or as a user of our technology.
I look forward to hearing from you.
