CQC Registration/Reports

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) is the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.

The CQC monitor, inspect and regulate services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety and then publish what they find, including performance ratings to help people choose care.

All of the services that we provide are registered with the CQC. We are inspected during unannounced visits where they ensure that we are providing our patients with safe, effective, compassionate and high quality care.

Inspection Reports

We had a routine inspection in July 2017 for a number of our services and we were rated as 'good' with areas of 'outstanding practice'. Copies of the different reports can be found by clicking on one of the links below. Please note; since the inspection was conducted IC24 no longer provides the NHS 111 service in North Essex.

Our GP Led Health Centres in both Hastings and Eastbourne have also both been rated as good. A copy of the report for Hastings can be found here and a copy of Eastbourne's can be found here.

A copy of the inspection of our integrated NHS 111 and out of hours service for Norfolk and Waveney can be found here.

The report for our Nurse Led Health and Justice Services at HMP Swaleside can be found here.

Our registered CQC nominated individual is Rachel Robinson, who is our Chief Nurse.
